Medical crew for the JFK 50 mile on the Appalachian Trail(AT). This is one of my favorite ultra race. Instead of running this year, I will be providing supports. Stop by to say hi if you’re on the Appalachian Trail.

First experience in Africa. Arrived at Nairobi airport baggage claim(in a large temporary tent). Suddenly, we are not in Kansas anymore 😅. Got to work with beautiful, kind and appreciative people of Kenya. First stop, village hospital. Worked with the local healthcare providers and distributed 20 water filters. Each will provide clean drinking water for a family for five years. preventing communicable diseases, such as dysentery, cholera, and guinea worm, etc. rather than treating the diseases and complication.
