We had a blast wrapping up the school year with the now 5th grade graduates from William Perry Elementary PTO and Bessie Weller Elementary School! Thank you Coach Harris for the pictures!

Looking back on year 4, we would like to thank the Waynesboro Public Schools and Staunton City Schools for their partnerships and also Ridgeview Christian School. This year we served 9 schools and approximately 500 students.

These young people put in some work at this year’s KCMS golf club. 8 days over 2,500 golf balls hit and two nine hole par 3 rounds played.
It has been an honor for Fore The Valley to sponsor/organize this club for a second year and an even greater honor to get to know these fine student athletes.

We had a blast on April 8th with the 5th graders at Wenonah Elementary School and their teachers! We were so impressed by their engagement , enthusiasm and kindness!

We would like to thank We Are Converge for the recent collaboration on a new target for our kids. This was their design and ex*****on and the kids couldn't be more happy! In honor of our recently passed volunteer, please help us welcome and celebrate to the Fore The Valley family "Harvey" the Dragon!

Bunker Valley Golf Range & Learning Center

It is with deep sadness to inform you one of our beloved volunteers, Harvey Ball, has passed away. He was an incredibly generous man that the kids absolutely loved! One image that I will always remember is last year Harvey had his group of kids to teach and he had them laughing, engaged, and really enjoying themselves. As the school bus was loading his whole group ran back to give him a group hug. This is who Harvey was, a man who built custom golf clubs for field trips for kids who have never played the game before, a man who would hand us a check when no one was looking and say "make sure the kids the get the good ice cream." We will ALL miss you and are so grateful for the time you shared with us.

The 5th graders at McSwain Elementary School came ready to play and learn yesterday and had a blast! Shout to the amazing teachers at McSwain and volunteers who made the day so much fun. As always a huge thank to Trena McDaniel at Bunker Valley Golf Range & Learning Center for hosting us and providing instruction. Last but not least thank you to Kline's Dairy Bar - Waynesboro for the delicious treats!
