On display now through August 16, 2026! This Exhibit Art Gallery is called Mother Nature by !

Juliette says, “My art has become a closer study of the natural world with a bit of whimsy thrown in. I am attracted to painting animals and birds. Many people comment on the animal’s expressions and their eyes, which are fun to capture. Dogs and cats are favorites for me. I use lots of bright colors to show off the versatility of watercolor. I also have a streak of whimsy that sometimes appears in purple ears or turquoise eye lashes – on animals only! Often, we go about our daily lives and do not notice the beauty around us. Becoming better acquainted with nature has been a journey of delight.”

Join us under the Wayne Theatre marquee for Wayne On Main, our popular outdoor concert series, happening on the last Wednesday of the month from 6-8 pm through August 26. Admission is Pay What You Will. This Wednesday (June 24), we'll present live music by the band, Don't Look Up!

When Dave Sherman (guitar/vocals) was asked what kind of music Don't Look Up plays he said "American roots music specializing in the blues". Blues is where it all started and then branched out from there. They've all been playing some form of roots music for over 50 years and Don't Look Up is a culmination of all those years in the music business.

When asked how they got started, Andy Burdetsky (bass/vocals) said, "Dave and I, old friends from the DC area, reunited after Dave moved to Staunton back in October of '21. I invited Dave to come to a 'COVID Driveway Jam' at Rob Martin's (guitar/vocals) place. We clicked, and talked about starting a new band. So, we asked Lance Foster (drums/vocals) to join in and the rest is history."

Even though they've only been around for a short time, they're playing to packed houses everywhere they go! We can't wait to welcome them on Wednesday during our next Wayne On Main concert beginning at 6:00 pm.

Main Street will be closed in front of the Wayne Theatre for these concerts. There will be a limited amount of chairs available for use, but you may want to bring a lawn chair, if you have one. There will be concessions and restrooms available at the Wayne Theatre during the concert. We will have additional food trucks and beer outside the theatre as well!

Check out our Wayne On Main concert series and learn about more upcoming events happening soon here at the Wayne when you visit waynetheatre.org. You can also call our Box Office at 540.943.9999.
