It was a big weekend for the Lightning program as the 10U, 8U, and 7U teams all won their championship games. Congrats to all the kids, coaches, and parents on a great season! Looking forward to what’s to come.

Big late night win for the Lightning! After a three hour rain delay they started slow but then exploded for ten runs in the fifth to beat the Elmhurst Cougars 20-10. They finish pool play at 4-2. On to the bracket!

Two more home runs for and and JT broke out with a fifth inning grand slam in the Lightning’s 21-7 win over the Canandaigua Braves.

Lost in this weeks games was the amazing performance by .burns03 in the golden arm competition. While most people focus on the King of Swat and the Roadrunner, Chris has an awesome score of four in the preliminaries. He didn’t make the finals, but he rocked it nonetheless.

After a morning win the Lightning dropped a tough one 6-0 to a good Kahoots team from Hawaii. They head into tomorrow a solid 2-2.

Another two home runs for in the Lightning’s 9-7 loss to Full Count. Lightning fought back from an 8-3 deficit in the fifth as Evan’s GRAND SLAM got them within one.
