Congratulations to our WSC TRIO graduates! 🎓

We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you, not just for earning your degree, but for everything you’ve overcome to get here. Your hard work, resilience, and determination have been inspiring to watch, and your success is a powerful reminder of why matters so much.

Thank you for allowing us to be part of your journey. Watching you grow, persevere, and reach this milestone has been an honor for all of us on the TRIO staff.

As you move into this next chapter, know that we’ll always be cheering you on. We can’t wait to see all the amazing things you accomplish in the future. Don’t be surprised if we call you back someday to share your story as a special guest speaker because your journey has the power to inspire others, too. ❤️

[EVENT] Join the TRIO Peer Mentors as they host “Dre$$ to Impre$$.”

This program will inspire conversation about how we choose to spend our money on what we wear.
There will be a Kahoot on brands, trends, fashion, cost-effectiveness, and fast fashion.
Prizes will be awarded for Kahoot winners!

We will serve vanilla and chocolate ice cream with various toppings, as well as flavored sodas for floats.
We will also be serving chicken strips and seasoned fries.

[PICS] Yesterday, we had the opportunity to take a group of TRIO students on a graduate school visit to USD (University of South Dakota). Many thanks to Travis, Director of Graduate Admissions, and his team for providing an informative tour. The students had a great time and learned a lot about the graduate school process. We had students interested in programs such as animation, counseling psychology, and law. We truly appreciate the support from USD and look forward to continuing to build our relationship with them.

Last night, we had the pleasure of hosting our annual Etiquette Dinner, a tradition that continues to make a lasting impact on our students. Our TRIO LSS, Vito, led the evening and shared valuable insights on proper etiquette, professionalism, and social confidence.

Throughout the dinner, students learned essential skills such as table manners, respectful communication, and how to present themselves in both formal and professional settings. These are skills that extend far beyond the dinner table and help prepare students for future academic, career, and life opportunities.

We are proud of our students for their participation and their commitment to learning and growth.

Note: The lighting wasn’t the best, so we appreciate your understanding. And while this was an etiquette dinner, there’s always room to celebrate, so of course we had to include a few goofy photos after the event. :P

[PICS] Congratulations to our 2025–2026 TES TRIO Scholars Honor Society inductees! We celebrated 15 outstanding students at our induction ceremony on Sunday, March 22. We are so proud of their hard work, dedication, and the academic accomplishments that brought them to this moment. Each of these students has shown a strong commitment to their goals, and it was an honor to recognize their achievements. We look forward to welcoming even more scholars in the future.

Today we celebrate Gloria, who has truly been the heart of our TRIO program for the past 6.5 years.

Her work has often happened quietly behind the scenes, but its impact has been felt in every part of our program. From keeping things organized to supporting students and staff with care and consistency, Gloria has been someone we could always count on.

She has given so much of herself to this work, and our program is stronger because of her dedication, thoughtfulness, and steady presence. It is hard to imagine our office without her.

We are incredibly grateful for everything Gloria has done and the difference she has made in so many lives. She will be deeply missed, both professionally and personally.

As she begins this next chapter, we wish Gloria continued success, happiness, and all the best that lies ahead. She will always be part of the TRIO family 💙
