Meet Bawk Ross, our first cement chicken of the year! He's basically Bob Ross's biggest fan, except instead of painting happy little trees, Bawk Ross paints happy little messes. And by the looks of it, he's become one with his art.

This week were headin' to Winside for Old Settlers Weekend, going to the Wayne Farmers Market, and Crusin' down main. 😎 Looks like another week of not being bored in Wayne County!

This week we hosted Bicycle Ride Across Nebraska - BRAN and had the best time with even better weather!! We're grateful to have been chosen as one of the stops, and we hope to host again in the future. 🥰

Thanks to our community, businesses, and volunteers that helped with this event throughout the week. We couldn't have done it without you!

Join us tomorrow morning at 10:00 a.m. for Chamber Coffee, hosted by That Ain't Right down at Bressler Park! That Ain't Right is a local group that formed in Wayne America to focus on racial justice through education. 🤩

🚲 IT'S OFFICIALLY BRAN EVE IN WAYNE 🚲

Join us tomorrow afternoon and evening (with your lawn chair in tow) at Prairie Park for a cycling celebration featuring good food, cold drinks, live music, and 200+ cyclists from across the country 🤗

➡️ The Max Bar and Grill will be serving pulled pork sandwiches and slinging drinks in the beer garden

➡️ Rotary Wayne Nebraska will be selling root beer floats as a fundraiser

➡️ Advanced Mobile IV will be giving hydration boosts

➡️ Wayne County Troubadours are playing from 6pm-9pm

Heads up, Wayne! Tomorrow is about to look a little different around Prairie Park, and we promise it's worth it. 🚲 BRAN 44 is almost here!

If you're heading down to BRAN on Thursday, skip the Prairie Park parking stress and use the Carhart Lumber lot, the paved lot south of the Prairie Park Apartments, or the big lot at Journey Christian Church (1110 E 7th St). Shuttles run from Journey straight to the action, free for everyone, riders and residents alike. 😘
