Wayne State College has reduced the cost of professional development courses for educators from $75 to $40 per credit hour. Highlights of pursuing professional development with the College include face-to-face, online, or hybrid courses; simple approval and registration; and LETRS and statewide initiatives. Six credit hours of PD can be applied to a master's degree at WSC. Instructor and curriculum are provided by your ESU or district. NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION … Wayne State finished a second week of its New Student Registration (NSR) program June 5 for students who are ready to enroll in classes for the Fall 2026 semester. More than 600 incoming freshmen participated during the two weeks, with a few more dates remaining this summer. They run through Friday, Aug. 7, with fall semester classes beginning Monday, Aug. 24. Wayne State Foundation Forms Alumni and Friends Board – Wayne State College Nebraska Working closely with the Foundation, the group will assist with alumni-centered events, reunions, volunteer opportunities, and broader engagement initiatives that celebrate WSC pride and service.

Wayne State College awarded its first Associate of General Studies degrees on May 9 at its undergraduate commencement ceremony as part of its ReEngage Program, which is designed to help students with some college credit but no degree return to complete a degree or credential.
