Last week, we celebrated our amazing teachers with a special breakfast, sweet treats from a Groovy Goodies, a delicious food cart by our FEA Students, and some much-needed puppy therapy with adorable visiting dogs. 🐶💛

Thank you for your dedication, patience, and the positive impact you make in the lives of our students every day. We appreciate all that you do!

A call for industry professionals to volunteer as judges for the STEM Expo

Congratulations to our Athlete of the Month, Michael De Carlo!
Michael, a student in the Academy of Computer Science at PCTI STEM, has been a valuable member of PCTI’s Track team this season. He also competes in cross country during the fall, bringing that same endurance and commitment into track. His favorite memory from the season was winning counties with the team in January, a moment that reflected the team’s hard work and success.
Outside of athletics, Michael enjoys spending time with friends, biking, and playing basketball. He also shared a special shoutout to Coach Ruiz for helping him become a better runner this season.

Congratulations to our Athlete of the Month, Ariyonna Williams!
Ariyonna, a student in the PCTI School of Business, has stood out on PCTI’s Track team this season. Her favorite memory was earning second place in the high jump at the NJSIAA Meet of Champions with a jump of 5'6", an impressive accomplishment that reflects her hard work and talent.
Outside of track, Ariyonna enjoys eating, spending time with her little sisters, and relaxing. She plans to continue competing in track in college and hopes to study journalism so she can work in the news field on camera. She also gave a shoutout to her teammates for making practice enjoyable and to her coaches for helping her become more determined and better than ever.

Valrhona Chocolates comes to PCTI! Our Culinary students had the opportunity to gain hands-on experience, learn expert tips and tricks, and create some delicious chocolate masterpieces. An unforgettable (and tasty) learning experience!

Huge congratulations to the PCTI Academy of Finance Class of 2026! Alongside Academy of Finance Teacher Mr. Glueck and Class of 2026 senior Angelina L., the program recently accepted an award in NYC for W!SE Financial Literacy achievements. Their hard work has also earned national recognition as one of the top three high schools in the country—and the #1 ranked Large High School!

Michael Coscia, PCTVS Class of 1974 and a graduate of our Electrical program, was recently featured by Career Tech NJ as a CTE Success Story. Now president of Oak Electric Company Incorporated, president of the Passaic County Technical-Vocational Schools Board of Education, and a founding member and treasurer of the PCTI Education Foundation, Mr. Coscia continues to make an impact both in his field and in our school community.

“PCTI prepared me for career success by teaching me all the basics of the electrical field,” Coscia said. “Instead of starting from scratch when I entered the workforce, I already had a strong foundation. Because the program was hands-on, we received real, practical training, which allowed us to hit the ground running once we started working in the field.”

We are proud to celebrate Mr. Coscia’s accomplishments as an alumnus and his continued commitment to the PCTVS community.
