Retired

I am married to Dr. David Morton, a local dentist here in Waycross. I recently retired from the same dental office after 32 years. Growing up, my parents owned furniture stores in Northwest Florida where I grew up. I have gained extensive knowledge of furniture and antiques over the years from being around them pretty much all of my life. As a hobby, I began to collect and resale antiques and furniture. I have always enjoyed going to Estate sales over the years, and thought it would be a lot of fun to do as a second career; not to mention, to support my habit for my love of antique furniture! I know it is a difficult bridge to cross when you need to sell the precious personal belongings from your parents, other relatives, or even your own home – whether it be to illness, moving into nursing home, relocating, or sadly, sometimes the person has passed away. I feel very strongly that I am following God’s purpose, and plan for my life as a Christian by being able to provide support in this time of need, even if it is just to listen and encourage someone who is hurting during this difficult time.
