Ware County Schools is seeking a retired, certified Media Specialist to serve as a Media Center Substitute during the 2026-2027 school year.

This flexible, as-needed position provides an opportunity for retired educators to support students and staff in school media centers throughout the district.

Qualifications:
📚 Retired educator
📚 Georgia Media Specialist certification (current or previously held)
📚 Available to work on an as-needed basis

School may be out for the summer, but the learning continues as a team of Ware County Schools leaders represents our district at Mark Wilson’s Summer Leadership Conference.

While students enjoy a well-deserved break, our district leaders, school leaders, and aspiring leaders are collaborating with educators from across Georgia, exploring new ideas, and learning ways to better support students, staff, and schools.

The best school systems never stop growing. We’re proud of these leaders for dedicating part of their summer to learning, leading, and preparing for another great year in Ware County.

Today we honor and remember the brave heroes who gave their lives for our freedom.
Their sacrifice will never be forgotten.
