Clarmay Farm

Our Fall lambing has run late, but we started overnight with quads and the lambs keep coming. We will lamb these ewes and then have another group to lamb in April and May.
Kathadins are such good mothers! Kevin is here supplementing the quads until we pull one or two bottle babies. We have ewes successfully raise trips rather often, but quads are just too taxing on a ewe's udder and body condition, and often one lamb will just not grow well.

We're too crowded with lovely ewe lambs!
50-60 for sale, late April through early June purebred Kathadin ewe lambs. Well bred, sired by registered rams, and looking good. Will be ready to breed for fall lambs.

This is our 2 y.o. Ram "Clarmay Duke". He's a son of FFG 1248 from Grandpa's Farm here in Iowa. He's out of a favorite ewe sired by ADS Nakoda. We really love this fellow. We will use him one more time and then he will be for sale.
