Slow, slow obedience is still disobedience! I thought in my heart a while ago to create a new TikTok account because when I started back in 2017, maybe when it was (link unavailable), I wasn't doing it for God or for the right reasons. I was doing things like dances and other stuff; it just wasn't centered around Christ. So, anyways, my old TikTok account had over 4,000 followers and 30k likes. I'm starting fresh, as it says in the Bible, "Neither do men put new wine into old wineskins, lest the wineskins burst, and the wine be spilled, and the wineskins perish; but they put new wine into new wineskins, and both are preserved." - Matthew 9:17 (NKJV). In ancient times, they stored their wine in wineskins, which would stretch and expand as the wine fermented. If you put new wine into an old wineskin that had already been used, it would burst. I'm reminded of the importance of surrendering to God's new plans and purposes, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." - 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NKJV). So, here I am, finally being obedient, asking the Lord for forgiveness and that He'll do whatever He sees fit for my account.

Unconditional love, or agape, is the kind of love God showers upon us. Love isn't just about doing what we feel is right for us, especially if we believe in God. That mindset would essentially be telling Him, "No, your words are wrong; what you wrote in the Bible is wrong, and I'm going to follow what I feel in my heart." However, the world often distorts the true meaning of love. For instance, if I genuinely love my child, I'll do everything in my power to protect them from harm. If I see danger looming or know they need to bundle up in the cold to avoid getting sick, I won't just stand by and let them go their own way, especially when they're young and vulnerable. As they grow older and gain more independence, they'll have the freedom to make their own choices, and if they decide not to follow my guidance, that's their decision to make. But I won't condemn or hate them for choosing a different path than the one I've shown them.

This is similar to God's relationship with us. He has given us a set of rules, orders to follow, and a kingdom to abide in. It's puzzling that some people wouldn't want to follow His rules yet desire to be in His kingdom for eternity. Hell, in essence, is a separation from God. If God is a loving Father, He provides us with guidelines, not to restrict us, but to show us true love and fairness. As it says in 1 Corinthians 13:6, "Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth." If we truly love someone, we'll tell them the hard truth, even if it's difficult to hear. Just because I love you doesn't mean I have to accept every choice you make or every identity you claim.

Christ invites us to come to Him as we are, but that doesn't mean we stay the same. If God sent His Son to die for our sins, our wrongdoings, and we continue to live in those sins, why wouldn't we want to change? The world's definition of love often gets distorted, but God's love is about transformation.

Can I ask you a question remember when y'all at your parents to like tell your friend like no like she can't spend the night he can't spend the night? Y'all remember that even though you had the permission but you don't want to stay at the house for whatever reason it was right? Or even now y'all probably are so glad y'all got your own ride holidays coming up you can come and go when you want to for Thanksgiving and Christmas you ain't got to stay you ain't got to wait on nobody? Correct cuz you know some people they don't know boundaries or they just be talking at the side of the neck you know. So what is your home your home is your safe place right where you can be yourself or you can be you freely correct and you don't want nobody coming and disturbing your peace everything you built right? You want to want nobody coming into your home showing you fake love that's been disloyal that's been fake that's been two faced. And would you waste your time going to somebody's house if you did not care for them at all no because your peace is important correct? So why do we think it's okay that God should let everybody into his home for eternity. Those that never acknowledged him that he was real, that loved him or respected him or spent time with him? If our homes are sacred to us doesn't God have the right to say who can come into his home for eternity?
