I started working on a butcher knife for a local butcher. I still have a lot of finishing to do but I have a good start. 80CRV2 steel holds an edge and resists corrosion so it's excellent for butchering. The desert iron wood handle is extremely dense and is naturally oily which makes it difficult to work with but looks great when finished and hold up well to blood and water.

Another hunting knife going to a good home. 80CRV2 with Ultrex SureTouch handle. The handle material is alternating layers of rubber and G10 which helps to maintain grip when your hands get wet. Hand sanded with 1000 grit paper for a mirror finish. She's a beaut, Clark!!

There is a young man at my gym who will be leaving for the army after graduation. He's a good dude and will be going to the infantry so I wanted to make knife for him to take along. It's amazing how much more care you put into something when you think it may be used to save someone's life. The blade is forged out of 80CRV2 and will get a camouflage micarta handle. It will serve him well.

I had a friend send me a picture and ask if I could make him this specific knife. 3 3/4" blade, 4 1/2" handle. The blade is 80CRV2 that has been acid etched to turn it black. The handle is alternating layers of G10 and rubber which give it wonderful grip. It's a beautiful little knife!!

Another blade forged and heat treated. A friend asked me to make this knife with a 3.75" blade and a 4.25" handle. It's forged from 80CRV2 and will get a camo G10/rubber handle.

I put this beautiful Kirinite handle on this EDC I made last week. It is a gorgeous blade and now I'm headed to the Amish to find a leathersmith to make a horizontal draw sheath.

I forged this little fella out of 80CRV2 and plan to keep it as an EDC for myself. It has a 4.5" blade and 5" handle. I think it looks like a shark without the dorsal fin so I plan to add a teal/light blue handle to keep the nautical theme.

This is a beautiful blade. I put on a jade colored handle made from stabilized and dyed burl maple. It looks so appropriate on this curvy blade. I have some work to do to finish cleaning up the blade, hand sand the handle, and put a razor sharp edge on. It doesn't have a home so I will put it up for sale when I'm done. Let me know if you're interested.

Pounded this out this weekend out of 80CRV2. The 10" blade and 5" handle is a little larger than I usually make but it turned out beautifully.

I just started pounding this weekend with no real plan and ended up with a recurve fighter/hunting knife with integral guard. This was a lot of fun to make out of 52100 steel. Now to put a handle on and finish all the grinding.

Finally had some time to complete this chef knife. The blade is made from 52100 steel and the handle is dyed and stabilized maple with a "tree-of-life" mosaic pic. She's a beaut!!

Attaching the handle today and it's bea-u-ti-ful!!! Brass pin up front with a mosaic "tree of life" pin in back. Next up is shaping the handle, finish grinding, and to put an edge on it.
