As spring starts to settle in, the numbers show the Market is starting to heat up. As of March 2025, the Des Moines real estate market has experienced notable changes:​

Active Listings: There were 1,086 homes for sale, marking a 6.3% increase from February 2025. ​

Median Listing Price: The median home price was $232,323. ​

Median Days on Market: Homes spent an average of 48 days on the market. ​

Sales Activity: There were 201 homes sold in March 2025, a 19.6% increase from the previous month. ​

This indicates a growing inventory and increased sales activity in the Des Moines housing market.
