Today's end-of-year staff meeting was made even sweeter with some very special guests: our 2025-2026 Grant Ragan babies! 👶🌟 We loved being joined by Mrs. Waldron and Ocie, Mrs. Tribbey and Calum, Mrs. Pitkin and Emmaline, and Mrs. Breon and Xavier.

These 5th graders have a unique story. They began kindergarten during the pandemic, learning either online or behind masks. As they prepare to leave Grant Ragan, we invite you to enjoy this special slideshow filled with memories from their elementary years, along with hopes and dreams written by the staff members who have had the privilege of watching them learn, grow, and thrive!

Field Day 2026 ☀️

Congrats to Zoey and Brandon- two former GR students! 👏👏

Meet The Waukee Middle School Zoo Crew! Reese, Zoey, and Brandon applied and were selected for the Blank Park Zoo's teen volunteer program. They'll learn important job skills by helping with the animals and zoo events.

The students actually learned about the program with the help of a school associate, Cheri Oelrich. Cheri, who also works at the zoo, helped connect the students with the program after she learned about their love for animals.

Huge thanks to our amazing PTO for treating us to surprise ice cream and ending the week on a sweet note!
