Our kindergarten students had a special visit from The Waukee Fire Department! As part of their learning about schools and community helpers, students discovered how firefighters work together to keep our community safe. They loved meeting the firefighters, exploring their equipment, and seeing a fire truck up close. Thank you to our firefighters for bringing this learning to life!
Taking over the mic! 🎤Another egg prize gave students the chance to join our office team and help with morning and afternoon announcements.

Mrs. Prohaska, what are you doing?!” 🤣
She’s safely releasing a praying mantis back into the wild after a student spotted it on the ceiling of their first-grade classroom. Just another moment of unexpected learning at Grant Ragan!
Our Northwest football players and cheerleaders made Phoenix feel like a superstar by hyping him up after the big musical chairs win! 🐺💙
