Miss Kroll is a Waukee CSD graduate! She even completed an internship at our school during her senior year of high school in 2022.

When she's not in the classroom, Miss Kroll enjoys cheering on the Hawkeyes and the Chiefs!

We're excited to welcome Rachael Zimmerman to our 3rd grade team!

When she's not at school, Ms. Zimmerman enjoys reading, going for walks, and playing the guitar and piano.

"I'm excited to join the Grant Ragan team and be part of such a positive and welcoming school community. I'm also looking forward to meeting my 3rd graders and having fun together this year!"

This is a great opportunity for someone looking for a part-time position that fits nicely into the middle of the school day.

Hours: 11:15 a.m. to 2:05 p.m. on days when school is in session
Pay: $16.98/hour

You’ll help our students enjoy safe, fun, and positive lunch and recess experiences, and as you can see from these pictures, there’s plenty of fun to be had!

The first shipment of our new Illustrative Math books is here!

Every elementary school in our District will begin using this new math curriculum this fall. Teachers who piloted the learning last year saw great results, with students becoming more engaged, thinking more deeply, and strengthening their problem-solving skills.

Be sure to ask your child about it when the school year gets underway! ✏️

Let's give a big Grant Ragan welcome to our new 2nd grade teacher, Miranda Kuehl!

Ms. Kuehl graduated from Iowa State, so it's no surprise she's a big Cyclones fan! In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and watching a good movie or TV series.
