We wish all of our Father's Out there a Happy Father's Day today.
🏒 Happy Father's Day to Hockey Dads 🏒
Before the sun would greet the day,
You'd load the gear and drive away.
Through snow-filled roads and early dawn,
You cheered us on and carried on.
From cold arena seats you'd stand,
A coffee cup held in your hand.
Win or lose, you'd always say,
"Keep working hard, you'll find your way."
You taped the sticks, tied every skate,
Stayed after games, no matter how late.
You taught us more than how to play—
You showed us character every day.
The lessons learned beyond the rink,
The sacrifices we seldom think,
The love, the support, the time you gave,
Helped shape the paths we proudly pave.
So here's to the dads who never miss,
The rides, the cheers, the goodnight kiss.
Today we celebrate all you do—
Happy Father's Day, Hockey Dads. We salute you. ❤️🏒

Hunter Hall Re-Signs with the Watertown Wolves, Ready for a Fresh Start
The Watertown Wolves are bringing back a familiar face.
Veteran forward Hunter Hall has re-signed with the Wolves, returning to Watertown with renewed energy, a bigger edge to his game, and a clear goal: help drive a winning culture as the organization pushes toward meaningful, championship-level hockey.
For Hall, putting the Wolves jersey back on came down to more than just comfort and familiarity. He pointed to new changes within the organization as a key reason the timing felt right for a return.
“I’m excited to represent Watertown and to contribute to a winning culture,” Hall said. “Ultimately, I believe new changes within the organization provided a fresh start for both myself and the city in our pursuit of playing meaningful, championship games.”
Hall’s return also adds a steady voice in the locker room. While he’s not promising to be the loudest guy in the room, he’s clear about the type of leadership he plans to bring.
“I’d like to think of myself as someone who enables others to be themselves both on and off the ice,” he said. “I hope leading by example—pushing and holding myself accountable—will inspire others to do the same.”
Unfinished business
Hall doesn’t shy away from the past. In fact, he’s using it as fuel.
“Personally, I wasn’t at my best last season; I’m eager to prove what I and the new Watertown Wolves are truly capable of,” Hall said. “Outside of the need to, obviously, win games, my teammates and I will give our best effort whenever we hit the ice.”
A tougher, more dynamic Hall
Entering his fourth professional season, Hall says his game has continued to grow. He’s become more physical and tougher to play against, but he also wants to expand beyond that label.
“I have grown more physical and tough to play against since breaking into professional hockey three seasons ago,” he said. “Going forward, I’d like to be more dynamic; more than just another big guy who’ll fight for his teammates.”
Off the ice, Hall is looking forward to reconnecting with the city. And in a detail that will make longtime locals smile, his most anticipated return destination isn’t a restaurant or a landmark—it’s a library.
“I’m kind of a nerd,” Hall said. “So I’m really excited to be back at the Flower Library!”
Like many players, Hall’s love for hockey started at home.
“Like most hockey players, my Dad used to play and is the biggest reason why I love the sport,” Hall said. “Not only am I motivated to keep playing the game I love, but I’m excited to see what I and my teammates are truly capable of.”
With Hall back in the fold, the Wolves add a returning veteran who’s motivated, accountable, and hungry to help shape the next chapter of hockey in Watertown.
