We were excited to welcome the Wellesley Theatre Project this week for a fall corporate gathering! Seasonal florals, fresh bites, and an elegant atmosphere set the tone for a meaningful evening together.

Rain couldn’t dampen the Disney magic of this evening’s fairy tale wedding! The happy couple brought their enchanting vision to life, proving that love stories always get their happily ever after.

We are completely charmed by all the sweet personal touches. The venue was transformed with elegant and personalized details, including tables named after iconic Disney couples, gorgeous floral centerpieces paired with rich purple linens, and an interactive LEGO guest book! Plus, who doesn’t love a surprise late-night treat? A cannoli truck was the perfect, sweetest touch to cap off a magical night!

Congratulations to the newlyweds! Thank you for sharing your beautiful, magical day with us. We loved every detail and wish you a lifetime of happiness together!

There’s something unforgettable about a September wedding at the Commander’s Mansion, when the season sits perfectly between summer’s lush greenery and autumn’s rich colors. The gardens still bloom with late-summer vibrancy, while the air carries the promise of cooler days ahead. Beneath the tent, tables are dressed in florals that echo the season’s transition – light and airy with just a touch of fall’s warmth. It’s a moment in time that feels fleeting, beautiful, and meant to be captured forever. 🍂💐

The mansion was honored to host a grand opening celebration last week for a new neighbor right around the corner from us! Our venue came alive with breathtaking setups for this full day event, which included a traditional Chinese lion dance, bringing luck and joy to everyone in attendance. Welcome to Watertown and thank you for the opportunity to be a part of this unforgettable milestone!

For two decades, Tammy has been at the helm of the Commander’s Mansion, overseeing countless weddings, milestone celebrations, and private events, while also leading citywide gatherings that bring our community together. Her dedication, creativity, and energy have made the Mansion a beloved destination and an essential part of Watertown life.

We were thrilled to host Gordon’s and Baker’s Best for their “Vine & Dine” collaboration: Passport to the Tuscan Countryside here at Commander’s Mansion!

Guests enjoyed an elegant dinner under the tent featuring beautifully plated courses, fine wine pairings, and rustic floral touches that brought the vineyard-inspired atmosphere to life.

It was evening full of incredible flavors, warm company, and Tuscan charm — grazie to the planners and all who attended!

Did you know there’s a genuine grape arbor on the Commander’s Mansion grounds? While the wines at our 160th celebration will be courtesy of Gordon’s Fine Wines & Liquors (not from our own vines), we’re honored to toast this remarkable milestone with an elegant wine tasting inside the mansion, followed by a refined reception beneath our grand event tent.

This special evening also supports an important piece of the mansion’s history—proceeds will help restore an original light fixture at the landing of our grand staircase (which in recent years has been repurposed as a base for floral displays). Your ticket will help bring its historic glow back to life.
