Congratulations to our Library Clerk, Kate Henry-Wilkinson, for winning the City of Watertown Employee of the Quarter!

Thank you to everyone who came to our Crime Scene Investigation with Watertown Police Department - NY last night!

We had so much fun learning how to process crime scenes, learning about what equipment is used, and putting what we learned into practice by dusting for fingerprints and experimenting with UV lights. Thank you Officer Gooshaw for this awesome experience!

One week from today - Crime Scene Investigation with the Watertown Police Department!

In preparation for the upcoming workshop, our staff practiced dusting for fingerprints. We had a lot of fun...but we also learned that we'd make pretty terrible criminals.

Want to try it yourself? Join Ms. Jamie and Officer Gooshaw on June 16 at 6pm for a hands-on crime scene investigation experience where you'll get to dust for fingerprints and explore the behind-the-scenes work that goes into solving crimes.

Note: Some images shown during this workshop may be graphic in nature. Viewer discretion is advised. This event is for ages 8 and up. Participants will be determined on a first come, first served basis.

Questions? Contact Jamie: [email protected] or 315-785-7709
