🚨 Show up for housing. Show up for our community.
Monday, April 6 at 6:00 PM at the Watertown Free Public Library for a critical update on the Watertown Square Area Plan. There are growing voices opposing new housing—we need our community to show up and speak clearly in support.
At World in Watertown, we believe housing is a human right—and essential to a welcoming, inclusive city where immigrants, families, and neighbors from all backgrounds can thrive. This plan will shape how our community grows, and how spaces like our library continue to serve everyone.
Come early at 5:00 PM to Bar 'Cino to connect with Housing For All Watertown and other community members.
The meeting will be livestreamed, but you can only ask questions in person—please come if you can.

We had a blast connecting with curious 8th graders at the Watertown Middle School student networking fair today. They placed a gem on countries where they have cultural heritage, and there were gems all over the world!

Want to help build and strengthen community in Watertown? Using Angie Cruz's "How Not to Drown in a Glass of Water" as a jumping off place (reading helpful but not required!), join WFPL, Watertown Community Conversations, and Live Well Watertown for a facilitated dialogue exploring what community care and belonging can look like here.
We will hear from our neighbors about ideas for building stronger mutual support systems throughout Watertown, as well as consider existing avenues for connection: City-led initiatives, resident-driven organizations, community-wide events, and more.
