Before a single plunger moves, a battle is won in CAD and 3D modeling. Many failures start long before the machine runs, when the design doesn't account for how metal flows during the forming process.

Before production starts, accuracy is built into the model. We look for the subtle radiuses and transitions that can make the difference between a part that fails under stress and one that performs for a lifetime. By optimizing the transition zones, we can achieve seamless results that traditional machining simply cannot achieve.

Every material, every alloy has a unique "personality." Some resist being shaped, while others flow with the right amount of encouragement. At Braxton, our expertise isn't just in the machinery, it's in understanding the N and R values of the material itself.

When you push the deep-draw ratio to 58:1, the metal wants to fight back. We spend our days managing that tension, ensuring that the crystalline structure remains stable and the wall thickness stays consistent from the first station to the twenty-fifth. It’s not just manufacturing; it’s a dialogue with metallurgy.

It’s the first day of June, and at Braxton Manufacturing, we are hitting the ground running. Our team is already geared up for one of the most important industry events of the year: The Battery Show Europe.

As the European battery market continues its rapid expansion, the focus for every innovator remains the same: how to successfully bridge the gap between a high-precision design and giga-scale production.

At Braxton, we don't just provide the manufacturing certainty needed to scale. As a product development partner and a high-volume powerhouse, we support your project from the very first prototype to the billionth part, ensuring that the precision you engineered is the precision you receive.

One partner. Absolute repeatability. We’re ready to start June strong. Will we see you there?

Behind every micro-component at Braxton is a journeyman toolmaker who has spent years mastering the nuances of metal flow. In an era of automated manufacturing, we believe that true reliability starts with the craftsman. Our toolmakers typically undergo a rigorous four-year apprenticeship to enter the field, eventually progressing to "A-Level" masters capable of developing the complex layouts and custom-tailored tooling required for your most difficult designs. This deep-seated expertise is why we can achieve less than +/- 0.000025" variance on diameters within a lot, providing the predictable performance your most critical medical and aerospace projects require.

Did you know that the "Eyelet" industry was born right here in the Naugatuck Valley?

For over a century, our home of Waterbury, CT, was known as the "Brass City of the World." It was here in the mid-1800s that the first Individually Cam Operated Presses (ICOP) were pioneered to fabricate brass into shoe eyelets and tent reinforcements.

Building on the Naugatuck Valley’s rich industrial heritage, Braxton Manufacturing has spearheaded the modernization of deep-draw craftsmanship. By integrating our region’s historic mechanical foundations with 21st-century innovation, we continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible in subminiature manufacturing for the world’s most demanding industries.

Partnering with Braxton connects your project to a legacy of Naugatuck Valley craftsmanship that has defined deep-drawn standards for nearly two centuries.
