A Glorious Quilt

No two flowers are the same. I love how this is coming together.

Putting all of the little pieces together to make bigger pieces that actually look like flowers.

Finished sewing and pressing 80 of these babies. This was a great snow day!!

Started sewing the green to the pink. Four down, 76 to go.

Let's add another little piece of white. Tomorrow you'll be able to see it start to come together.

Believe it or not, this quilt does have a color other than pink...

80 pink and white square pressed are finally trimmed and pressed.

160 little white squares sewn onto my pink squares. Can you see what it's going to be yet? Hahaha. I love watching a quilt come together.

I'm going to need more vacation time so that I can work on my quilt. 160 small white squares cut and marked. I'm halfway through sewing them onto my half-square triangles. I'll share that picture tomorrow.

Just finished trimming 80 half-square triangles. I forgot how slow and tedious that is.

After matching my pinks together, I now have 80 squares that will soon be 80 half-square triangles. (These look dull because they are the back sides of the fabric.

If one pink is good, then 17 pinks are better. I love picking out fabrics for a quilt.
