🌱 Calling all gardeners!! If you would like to get your hands on one of the first batches of wool pellets, come support us at the Waterloo FFA Pork Chop Dinner! Kaleigh will be selling a gardening set with a batch of wool pellets. The Pork Chop Dinner is February 22 at 5:30 P.M. in the Waterloo High School Cafeteria. We hope to see you there!

It’s officially official! Today we signed our loan papers at the bank and sent our down payment money to purchase our equipment! BaaBaa Girls Wool Pelletizing is becoming reality! A HUGE thank you goes out to Chris Pickett of the Waterloo branch of Dieterich Bank for funding our equipment purchase, and most of all giving two 15-year-old girls a chance at small business entrepreneurship. We truly appreciate your interest in our business and your willingness to support the youth of Monroe County. Thank you to Chris, for being our first paying customer for a product we haven’t even made yet!

Dieterich Bank was the sponsor of the $1,500 prize that was awarded to the 2025 Rural Business of the Year that we won back in October through the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and the Metro East Start Up Challenge offered through SIUE.
