UPDATE: The owner of Reliable Sanitation Service reached out and offered to help us. Can’t thank them enough. We have them at our Red Bud location, and as you can see they are far superior. So only the utmost gratitude to them.

Thanks to Republic Services, they didn’t pick up our dumpsters TWO TIMES this week. When calling them saying they didn’t pick them up. They said the driver marked them as completed. I️ said I️ needed them picked up right away as the weekend is coming, they said they would pick them up before end of the day Friday. They didn’t, so with that said. I️ am looking for someone with a roll off or something of the sort asap I️ can rent and get dropped off today until Monday. If you or someone you know can help, please let us know!

We’re excited to share an update to the Monroe County Battery Recycling Program!

Residents can now recycle more types of batteries — including certain lithium batteries — at approved drop-off locations throughout Monroe County.

✅ ACCEPTED:
🔋 Portable rechargeable batteries under 11 lbs.
🔋 Single-use (primary) batteries
📱 Cell phones

⚠️ NOT ACCEPTED:
❌ Car batteries (Wet batteries)
❌ Damaged or defective batteries
❌ Batteries over 11 lbs.
❌ High energy batteries over 300 watt-hours (Outdoor power equipment, scooters, e-bikes, etc.)
❌ Batteries that are part of a recall
