Saturday Recap:
The day started rough the brake caliper locked up in front of the car. Davie and CJ worked hard to get the car fixed and the brakes bled after doing that they went to start the car to load it and the battery had lost a cell and crapped out so after about an hour of diagnosing that and getting it fixed, we’re on our way to the track we get to the track start fifth in the heat made our way up to third with no brakes after bleeding the brakes again we went out for the feature started fifth but still had brake issues and couldn’t make our way to the front. It was a struggle bus Saturday night. Congratulations to our good friend Mr. smooth on a well-deserved victory. It was nice to see him hand out an ass whooping like that we have this coming week off the guys will be getting the car ready to go and hopefully the brakes fixed.

The CJ1 team had a great opening night at land of legends we drew 5 through the gate which put us on the pole for the heat and we went out and won that we redrew 4th for the feature and quickly turned into a 3 car battle for the lead for a few laps where we were held up pretty good the leader got out in clean air and we ended up finishing second in a caution free race and lost oil pressure on the scales now to get to work and get the new Moose’s race engines power plant in see everyone next week

FINALLY!

Weekend update: Weedsport Speedway. Drew 63 out of 75 through the gate, which put us sixth in heat one. The top 3 redraw; when the green flag dropped, we quickly moved through the field to finish 2nd and put us in the redraw. Drew P1 for the feature. When the green flag dropped in the feature, we spun the tires and lost a position to move us to 2nd. After a 20-lap battle, CJ got a run on the bottom coming out of 2, pulling door to door with the leader. The bottom lane closed up in a hurry, and with the wall and mud on the bottom, he clipped the inside wall and hit the car, closing the hole next to him and breaking the LF Spindle. All in all, it was a fun time and some good slick track racing. We have shown some real speed early. See everyone at the Land of Legends opener.

Last night wouldn’t have been possible without Tyler and the entire Outlaw Speedway crew for hosting this special race.

It wouldn’t have been as big as it was without the help of our cousin Nick at NG Promotions who helped to promote the race and lap money sponsorships! The extra money definitely helped bring cars out!!

Last night was a beautiful night for racing and the love was flowing. We had 19 street stocks enter the gate and the track was fast and smooth!

Our longest haul award sponsored by the Brewer Crew and W***y Easling Racing was awarded to the #58 of Trent Chamberlain who drove 127 miles to get to the track last night.

Cj Guererri in the had the fastest hot lap of the night clocking in at 17.047 to snag the Hot Lap Hero award sponsored by Team 15.

The of Joe Giardina drew 49 and got the Worst # at Draw sponsored by Veteran Welding & Consulting and the #9 of Axsel Jensen was lucky to secure the Pole Award sponsored by Greene Photos.

Jimmy Grant in the #36 had a tougher night than usual, pulling in after completing only 13
laps so he was awarded the Hard Luck award sponsored by Swood Racing.

Doug Webster in the #88 secured the sportsmanship award sponsored by The Home Building Group LLC.

W***y Easling in the #28 drove his heart out to earn the Hard Charger award sponsored by NG Promotions, having passed 6 cars (the most out of everyone) starting in the 7th position and securing the win. He really had to work for the win, passing the #15 of Glenn Whritenour who had the Fastest Feature Lap sponsored by W***y Easling Racing at 17.455.

Lastly, Marc Minutolo in the grabbed the 5th Place Finisher award sponsored by Damo Fab, Cj Guererri in the was the First LoLR weekly competitor across the line sponsored by Nick LeGrett, and Ely Mangiarelli in the was the last running car to cross the line sponsored by Springer’s Maintenance Consulting.

As a family and team, we can’t thank everyone enough for the support that we have gotten to honor our amazing father. For sponsoring our laps and awards and coming out to watch the races. Life just isn’t the same without him and a sadness lingers everyday not having him around us physically. We know he is with us in spirit and we hope we made him proud last night. ❤️

A special congratulations to W***y Easling for securing the win. We feel dad was spreading the love to the Easling family last night as his mom battles the same cancer dad had. We are sending her all the strength and love to fight this battle!!! 💙

Who’s coming for the Big Check ? At the inaugural David Guererri Sr Memorial at Outlaw Speedway

ONLY 3 DAYS AWAY!! We are super excited for our dads memorial race this weekend and we were able to double ALL of the laps and add a few more to the extra awards totaling over $4,000 in extra money to be won!

UPDATE: unfortunately due to inclement weather over this past week and the forecast for the weekend, Outlaw Speedway has postponed dads race until NEXT FRIDAY April 17th!

The positive part is the guys that didn’t have their cars done will have more time to get them done for one of the biggest street stock races this year!
