Thursday we attended an Organic Grain Mill & Field Day in North East Illinois. We so enjoyed learning more about the ways farmers in our state are working to improve soil health and bring to their communities! We so appreciate your support as we continue to learn more ways to bring this to y’all!
These summer mornings have been GORGEOUS during morning chores🤎 We’ve enjoyed working hard to gather eggs for your sourdough baked goods, working in the garden, the pasture and around the homestead before the heat of the day sets in. What a blessing it is to steward God’s Creation!

Our summer favorite is back! The Organic Salsa Loaf has returned! Our twist on a jalapeño-cheddar loaf, but with fire roasted tomatoes and a tomato-infused dough.
We source top-quality grass-fed cheddar, organic jalapeños (just a few weeks until we'll have fresh jalapeños from our garden to include!) and organic tomatoes.

Opening early and the tent is up! 8a-5p, Saturday 6/13 with all organic: regular loaves, chocolate chip loaves, Italian herb & cheese (last week for this flavor!), fresh-milled honey wheat, cranberry & chocolate chip granola, pastured eggs, fresh-milled brownie mix, barley chocolate chip cookie mix, pizza crust mix, tallow skincare and more!

Dough for days on Dough Days! Friday’s we mix your organic sourdough loaves, ferment them, shape them, then get them all tucked in tight like this, before going into the fridge for an overnight cold ferment for added gut health benefits.
Saturday morning we get up early and bake them fresh in our brick oven before opening our Farm Stand at 9a!
6/13, we’ll have all organic: regular loaves, chocolate chip loaves, Italian herb & cheese (last week for this flavor!), fresh-milled honey wheat, cranberry & chocolate chip granola, pastured eggs, fresh-milled brownie mix, barley chocolate chip cookie mix, pizza crust mix, tallow skincare and more!

Our lawn maintenance team is doing what they do best! After each day running our Driving Disciples Summer Camp this week, it’s a true joy to come home to these cuties. Their paddock by the house is a blessing to our yard and our hearts!
