SPPCS Fourth and Fifth Grade

Fourth grade finished the novel, Charlotte’s Web, so today we are enjoying all things Charlotte’s Web!

So far we have picked a classmates name and wrote about what makes them a good friend and have studied theme and character characteristics!

Does height effect the speed of an object? Ask a fourth grader! They conducted an experiment to find out the answer.

The fourth graders were so excited to start a new tradition at school today! Father Linus came over today and blessed each student’s Bible. He taught us how to use our Bible and encouraged us to live out the Bible each day.

Today we learned about the life of Mary and celebrated her birthday.

Fridays are for fun! We played math games to review what we have been learning and followed a directed drawing video to make figurative language robots! Stay tuned for the finished masterpieces!

4th grade enjoyed our annual Mass on the Grass!

Happy First Day of School from the fantastic fourth grade!

We finished our book which included a battle with a dragon. We made dragon eyes for fun! They did a great job! 🐉 🏰 ⚔️

We had the BEST day at our end of the year celebration! Only 8.5 days left with these guys and gals ❤️

Congratulations to our 5th graders for successfully completing and graduating from the DARE program! A special thanks to Officer Wiegand for coming each week to teach our students important skills for the future.

4th and 5th had the privilege of joining Bishop McGovern along with local residents and farmers at todays Farm Blessing in Hecker.

We celebrated Dr. Suess today by doing a directed drawing lesson of Cat in the Hat!
