January is National Radon Action Month. Take action and test your house for Radon gas. Straight from the CDC website: Radon is an odorless and invisible radioactive gas naturally released from rocks, soil, and water. Radon can get trapped inside homes and buildings, and build up in the air. Over time, breathing in high levels of radon can cause lung cancer. Radon tests can be found at hardware stores but Dr. Catalano offers Radon test kits for sale in his office as well and is happy to spend the time to teach you the "need to know" info about Radon gas.
