Rite employees are off for the day in honor of Memorial Day. Today we remember those brave men and women who sacrificed their lives to protect our freedom. ❤️🤍💙

Tomorrow is Memorial Day so the Rite crew will be off for the day. All Monday services will be postponed a day. We'll see you all Tuesday!

Some holiday housekeeping 🧹next week's holiday is affecting some recurring routes. Here's what's happening and when:
❌Monday: Rite employees off for Memorial Day
✅Tuesday: All Monday services will be performed and most Tuesday residential services
✅ Wednesday: Any remaining Tuesday routes (Tuesday commercial trash & recycling and residential trash for western Cedar Falls/Dike) and most Wednesday services
✅ Thursday: Any remaining Wednesday services (roughly half of the Wednesday commercial trash customers and some rural dumpster services around western Cedar Falls/Dike) and all Thursday commercial & residential services
✅Friday: We're caught back up! Normal Friday commercial and residential services
For those whose service day is being affected you should receive notification via email, and, if we don't have an email on file, a call.

Our Director of Operations, Doug, had the opportunity to shape the minds of some future world shakers! Thanks to Ms Kianna Gardner, a Career Education Specialist at Bunger Middle School for the invite.

7th and 8th grade students had the chance to hear about the career opportunities available locally in the field of waste management, how the industry continues to grow and gain importance on a global scale and how Rite fits into that picture.

Students were engaged and asked good questions, seems we've got some future garbologists on our hands!

This week is Isaac's 4 year work anniversary! Our fleet maintenance manager, Carey, has dubbed him the 'engine whisperer'. He knows how to make them purrr. 🐱

The Rite roll-off fleet is in and parked for the evening. We're officially over the hump. See you all on the homestretch!
