The Brain Freezer

Come find us today and this weekend at The National Cattle Congress outside the Hippodrome. We would be very happy to serve anyone. We are still selling the coupon books for hockey, but we aren't able to sell them there. So if you would like to buy one feel free to reach out. They are still only $10.

Cruise University event at the old Kmart parking lot, now U-haul storage. Huge turnout and lots of really cool cars to see. Stop by and we can help you cool down!

Busy time today at the Taste of UNI serving the incoming class. Line started forming as soon as we pulled in and next thing we know we were the last ones there! We enjoyed serving some cold tasty treats on a hot day on our home campus. Wishing all the students a great year and thank you for having us! Go Panthers!

Looking at the coming month, we will be serving at the Taste of UNI, the Cruise University, and the National Cattle Congress events. If you have a need outside of those events please let us know! Thank you for your support!

The Flavor of the Day is: The Pirate's Treasure for Hudson Days. Stop by and say hi, we'd love to serve you some great shaved ice.

We are proud to announce that The Brain Freezer has a new home. The Dodge family from rural Waterloo has taken over. Please meet your new shaved ice team. Alik and Nadia!

Both attend Hudson schools. Alik's passion is hockey where he has played for the Waterloo Junior Hawks and is moving to the Waterloo Warriors. For Hudson he runs track, is in band & choir and referees soccer. Nadia plays soccer both for Hudson and the Cedar Valley Soccer Club, and just finished her first year of band. Both of these young entrepreneurs finished the school year on the platinum honor roll.

They will strive to keep up the great service the Brain Freezer has been known for. Our first public festival is at the Celebrate Indee at the Riverwalk Parks in Independence July 3rd and 4th. If you are out come say hi.

We will be serving at the hospital in West Union from 2-5pm today! Swing by for a cool treat 🍧
