Rum & Amaretto Peaches with ice cream and fried almonds🍑🔥 inspired by my table side flambeing past except no bananas lol because they are for the birds! This is a perfect summer dessert. Ingredients: * 4 large peaches or 5 medium. * 1/4 cup + 2 tbsp brown sugar. * 2 oz amaretto. * 2 oz dark rum. * Pinch of salt. * Orange zest and juice of half. * 1/3 cup sliced almonds. * 4 tbsp unsalted butter. * Vanilla ice cream. Directions: 1. Remove the pit from the peaches and slice. 2. Toast the almonds until golden. 3. Preheat your stainless steel pan for 2 min. Add the butter. Once melted add the peaches, salt and sugar. 4. Let them caramelize on medium high for 3-4 min. Add in lemon zest and juice. Let them cook for another 4-5 min 5. Add in rum and amaretto. Let it reduce and get sirupy. About 3-4 min. 6. Serve it with the almonds, ice cream and a mint leaf. #peaches #grilledpeaches #dessert #summercooking #icecream #heresmyfood #makeitdelicious

A new set up for the Monroe County fair. I’m right under the food pavilion. It’s a perfect night for lemonade from the Valmeyer school district and root beer floats from Monroe county 4-H.
