Fom our CVM member slack channel. Frame, in a Frame, in a frame? Todd made a great fridge magnetic frame design that is easily customized and cut out using our laser. The center scrap from the frame was perfect for the doggy themed frame. Todd will share his designs if you want to get started on Christmas.

The 4 x 8 CNC at the space got a new spoil board today. A lot of miles on the old one and more than a few deep cuts. It happens

Great morning to come to see the makerspace and join us for a cup of coffee. The West Door will be unlocked and the space open for walk-ups 9-11a.

Cedar Valley Makers Member and ceramic artist is showing her art at the Waterloo Center for the Waterloo Center for the Arts.

Amythest Warrington - A ceramic artist and educator known for her emotionally resonant installations exploring themes of love, grief, and memory. You will occassionaly see her at Cedar Valley Makers working on forms and settings to create and display her art.

There is a reception and gallery talk this Friday from 5:30-7:30pm at the Waterloo Center for the Arts. The exhibition is up through November.

CVM is working in Partnership with AFIL to move and expand our Makerspace into 10,000 SQFT at the AFIL location. Tomorrow, AFIL is having an open house. BBQ and community supporting veterans 4 - 6

We're not fooling around!

You can make so many neat and useful things at the Makerspace it's mindblowing. Maker Mike made this quick custom bracket to mount his docking station so that the big pile of heavy cables are now under his desk, instead of on top of it. It took him 10 minutes to design and an hour to print for a major improvement.

Come on up to the Makerspace on March 28th for our Saturday Skill Share with Dick. He'll be walking us through the setup and then machining a simple part using the Tormach CNC.

CVM Maker Paul had some fun making these beautiful wine racks. Lots of sanding involved, but definitely worth it for the final product! We know who we want to be hanging out with on the weekends
