Due to some ‘when it rains it pours’ events this week, we will not be open at Starr’s tonight.

Starr herself will be rocking out on the line at Flint & Stave this evening- so come on down and grab some risotto or a Bostrom steak down the road!

We know Grandpa’s got the grill fired up to burn some hot dogs, and your uncle’s already en route with a case of warm Keystone… but if that’s not your idea of a good time, we’ll be here with perfectly cooked steaks, icy craft cocktails, and the sweet hum of air conditioning. 🍸

We love sharing our favorite memories from the little brick building on Main Street. A couple months back, Starr had a spark of inspiration—why not bring ramen specials into our Monday Industry Night lineup?

At the end of that night, she plated up a sample of every dish for a quick photoshoot 📸
Fast forward an hour, and it’s 9:30pm. We’ve got way more ramen than we could ever eat… but we’ve still got a great group of out-of-towners lingering over a last drink at the bar.
So we grab the bowls and head out with a smile:
“Hey friends! We know you already ate, but we’ve got a mountain of ramen from our photo shoot—feel like helping us out?”
Cue laughter, some belly-holding, and a few “we just ate, but…” confessions. We brought out small plates, but let’s be real—everyone dove right in.
There’s something magical about sharing a bowl of good food with strangers. Stories start flowing. Laughter bubbles up. Connections form. Lessons doled out about proper chopstick form.
As the night wound down and our new friends got ready to head out, they left Starr with a compliment that stuck with us:
“We’re from Seattle—where ramen’s a serious thing. And honestly? You could hang with the big dogs out there.”
A final clink of glasses, some tips about a candle shop we have to visit if we ever get out to the Emerald City, and off they went. Full bellies. Full hearts.

✨ It’s what we’re all about: Connection. Great food. Late-night laughter. Being in the right place at the right time—with some photo-worthy ramen.

If your planner’s looking a little light tonight, come grab a seat and taste the ramen that impressed Seattle.
