Great to have Marie representing Frontline Mission at the LINKS annual resource fair today at Wonderland park! The resource fair will be open until 3pm Thursday, June 18th!

Thank you to American Heart Association - Alaska for helping so many in our community, and providing the necessary training for others to help our community members! This specific training session has already been utilized to save a life in Wasilla! Thank you!

We’re working to strengthen cardiac emergency preparedness in Wasilla through a collaboration with Frontline Mission. The mission serves the Mat-Su Valley and provides emergency food, clothing and other items to the community.

They wanted to make sure they had a plan in place if someone on-site experienced cardiac arrest, because quick action is essential for improved outcomes.

Our Community Impact team worked alongside staff to develop a cardiac emergency response plan. This plan ensures AEDs are available, staff is trained in CPR and everyone knows their role in responding to an emergency. This will save lives.

This is a great way for kids from the Mat-Su Valley to have a safe welcoming place to go in the evenings! June 22nd-26th! 6pm-8:30pm!!

FREE community cookouts happening this Saturday, May 30th! ALL are welcomed!
1st cookout will happen down KGB on Horizon Dr. at Station 6-3! noon till 3pm!
2nd cookout will happen at Williwaw Park in the Williwaw subdivision in Wasilla, 5-8pm! Live Music, Yard Games, Burgers, and limited grocery boxes for distribution! This is a family friendly event!

For those near Big Lake or Houston visit West Valley Church of the Nazarene 1300 S. Ridgecrest Rd. (mile post 51 of Parks) and enjoy a hot meal at 6pm every Tuesday evening with some groceries being served starting at 7pm!

Congratulations to Marie Zimmerman on receiving her award for being a Champion for Children! Marie was nominated because of her hard work at Frontline Mission in partnering with several Mat-Su Schools to provide security for students who do not have enough food! Marie has brought dedication, commitment and passion to helping improve the lives of many in the Mat-Su Valley! Marie was nominated to receive this award from Roxanne Simmons of Iditarod Elementary School! This award is from the Mat-Su Education Association. Please congratulate Marie in receiving this award!!!
