Float pilots!
We are in search of a set of PK 2300's here in the Valley to make patterns off of. We have a couple of standing orders we are trying to fill and these particular floats are proving to be elusive locally. We don't need to take them anywhere, just measure and record. If you have a set around here, please call us! Thanks!

NOW HIRING!
Fall is right around the corner and a number of our customers have planned ahead. Our summer hours are back to full time and we find our shop in need of another part time sewer. Approximately 20 hours a week, attitude and reliability a must, sewing skills obviously desired but would not rule out teaching the right person. MUST be able to throw the frisbee for the Shop Dog. Pay DOE of course. This is a perfect situation for someone with kids in school or if you're a student yourself. We have a fast paced but fun environment with a great clientele and are willing to be flexible on the hours. Call or stop by our shop and introduce yourself. 907-357-9464

Yes Martha, they even do helicopters!
Another fun project in the books and great people to work with! This Huey presented several challenges for a set of covers. Primarily from the standpoint of the engine nacelle. There's little to attach to to keep everything in place! We came up with some interesting and simple solutions. This set included main rotors, masthead, tail rotors, horizontals, windshield and insulated engine cover. All components are integrated to work together or stand alone as well as ease of installation.
We've done several turbine and recip helos and you can expect to see more of these from us even though these things have no wings, They are after all just a lot of parts trying to become random again. :0
And of course, Shop Dog approved.

So, to expound on what our friend Eric posted the other day, we have been working on some new products. Not necessarily new ideas, just building on an idea of preserving our floats. We've all seen or made the plastic covers and weighted down with what we can find. Well, we have now made patterns for the majority of popular floats. These are tough, form sitting and will stay on regarding the wind. They shed water very well, especially during our freeze/thaw of spring. We currently offer covers through the 3500 series of floats and will soon have through 5000 series for Otters, etc. Pictured are 2870's and 3430's. Give us a call if you'd like to learn more, we welcome questions!
Shop dog approved.... of course.

A few out of the ordinary as well as day to day projects of the last week or so. Hunting season is on us so I would remind all of our customers to look your gear over before you need it.
Let us know if you need repairs or replacements before our backlog gets too bad. As always, we're available for any questions.
Enjoy the season!

With the input of several guides from the Peninsula, we have a solution to high summer winds. These spoiler strips effectively kill the lift of the wing yet still pack much smaller than conventional wing covers. It’s a great safety net if caught out in high winds. We can provide these to fit all types of aircraft.

Hi guys! We've had a few technical problems with our website and finally came to the conclusion that this old house needs a major update! So, we're asking for a little help here. We are in the process of having a new website made. We're going to have a gallery page in addition to our product pictures. We would like to ask our customers to submit pictures of your aircraft suited up against our winter in all their finery. Pictures can be either on the ramp or in the field. Please submit them in the highest resolution possible and send them to [email protected]. It goes without saying that all privacy will be adhered to namely no N-numbers.
Thanks in advance for helping us out, we appreciate all of your business and would love to include you all as we update and improve.
Thanks!
