Frank the puggle had an appointment to see Dr Jenn and staff at Borealis Veterinary Clinic this morning for a chronic cough. Besides his cough medicine, he’s on an antibiotic for the next week. He will need a dental soon.

As usual, we stopped at Blondies Coffee Co. on FVL for a pup cup. He had such manners, he wouldn’t lick the whip cream off of my drink. I had to feed it to him. Silly pup.

Coffee with Spot. He has so much going on and he’s a real trooper. So we got a call from Jessica Spotts DVM with his blood and urine results. Blood looks OK, but urine had high calcium levels. So, we’re changing diet, adding a prescription, and weekly B12 injections to give him the nutrients he needs and boost his energy. He’s eating better with our modifications to his diet and is getting his meds because I crush them up and mix them in peanut butter. Dave is also making sure that if he leaves the ranch and is going somewhere that’s dog friendly, Spot gets to go. Yesterday he got a pup cup and devoured the whip cream off of my drink. I love my Spot.

Look at Maggie! Isn’t she gorgeous? Her mom says she’s doing fine and that she’s the best beagle on the planet. Who are we to argue. Maggie was adopted from ABR earlier this summer.

Big Bill goes in for the second part of his dental surgery on Saturday. It should be about $1300. If you can help out, it’s appreciated. I find it hard to believe that we haven’t gotten any serious applications for Leonard yet. Sure he likes to jump up into your lap when he’s soaking wet from being outside in the rain so he can get his pets. But he is such a lovable little guy. It’s funny when he’s shy around some and then where have you been all my life around others. He’s the best little guy who would make somebody a very loving pup. Coffee with Ludo. What a sweet pup. He’s still a little nervous, but he jumps up in my lap for pets and he’s taking treats now. He’s getting use to the others and our crazy routine. He hasn’t eaten yet but that’s not unusual for new pups. He can afford to miss a couple meals. He’s got an appointment at Borealis Veterinary Clinic for a wellness exam, shots, and then to get neutered soon. I can tell he’s a good boy. So glad he’s here. We love you already Ludo.
