If you look close at this 48 lb sweetheart you'll see a little bit of the Chihuahua show through, not in her size😂, but quite possibly in her infinite affection❤️ Her personality is mostly labrador with her love of the outdoors!
She has been smitten with the kids in the foster home (2.5 & 5 yo) and loves nothing more than to be where they are! She accepts all cuddles even the grabby ones from the youngins with happiness. She has learned the ins and outs of house life, is kennel trained, and that cats like space and while she still goes up to sniff and wishes they would cuddle and play with her she respects their space.
She will welcome anyone who walks in the door, does perfect on car rides, is potty trained (will go to the door), and has never met a dog she didn't want to be friends with! She's a smart, water loving girl who's eager to please...summer is here and Nala is looking to join you on your next adventure!

She is working on building her confidence at home and out and about. Some good socializing would help. She is potty trained. She is very food motivated which makes training easier.

She would do best in a home without small animals/chickens as she has some prey drive.

He loves walking and running with his long legs. He is very fond of car rides. He seems to expect to go somewhere when he gets his coat or halter on.

At just one year old, Strawberry has already overcome more than most dogs ever should.

Despite her difficult past, Strawberry remains one of the happiest, most outgoing dogs you'll ever meet. She absolutely loves people and greets friends and strangers alike with enthusiasm and a wagging tail (stump lol). Her zest for life is contagious, and she never misses an opportunity to make a new friend.

Strawberry is incredibly smart, highly food motivated, and eager to learn. Training comes naturally to her, and she thrives when given the chance to work for treats and praise. She is a quick learner who enjoys engaging with her people and would excel in a home committed to continuing her education.

She is also dog-friendly and enjoys the company of other canine companions, but has had limited social interactions so far so would need a larger companion that can handle her play style.

Strawberry came to us through an AST cruelty seizure after being found in an abandoned home during an Alaska winter. She and two other dogs had been left behind without food, water, or heat, confined in heartbreaking conditions. Yet somehow, Strawberry emerged from that experience with her spirit intact. Rather than allowing her past to define her, she greets each day with optimism, affection (SO SO much affection), and excitement for what comes next.

Now Strawberry is looking for a family who will show her what a loving home truly feels like. In return, she'll offer loyalty, laughter, and enough personality to fill an entire house.

Bullseye does great with young children and even loves being held. He enjoys playing with the big dogs in his foster home and is curious but respectful to the other cats.
