How cute are these two ?!?!
Cosmo and Domino are scheduled to get fixed in the next few weeks and then will be up for adoption.
Yes, they are missing their ears
No, that was not planned
Yes, its because their mom is also their sister and aunt and grandma.
The sad reality of what happens when people dont fix their pets and let everyone breed with each other.
Edit
He is simply sedated in this video, he was not given the euthanizing meds yet. He closes his eyes at the end because he’s very tired and relaxed.
Hi friends!
This is Tara posting and these are my opinions
I’m frustrated. I’m sad and I am so tired. I don’t do death well. It’s such a challenge for me to agree to let a cat go I always hold on too long. I get looks from the vet, as In “You are delusional”
Today, I held this precious creature as he passed away. His 6-7 weeks of life ended in pain and confusion and it didn’t need to happen . Truthfully, he never should have been born. He should have never been born.
I normally try to get out of the appointments where we know a cat will die, I’m not strong enough. Today I couldn’t avoid it because doing so would mean Detour would have to suffer so I wouldn’t have to be sad. And even I, as self centered as I am, can’t do that.
I loved you Detour, I hardly knew you but I loved you. Your adorable eyes were more than this world deserved. Infection ravaged your body because irresponsible selfish ridiculous people did nothing and allowed a small situation to explode into full chaos. I’m angry today. I’m angry and sad.

No Ferals at Main Steeet next week!
⚠️ FERAL CAT NOTICE ⚠️
Main Street Spay & Neuter will NOT be accepting feral cats the week of June 15th–19th.
On Tuesday, we will be hosting our Big Fix event, where we will be spaying and neutering 100 owned cats, and our schedule is already extremely full throughout the rest of the week.
Please know that we do not make this decision lightly. We understand how important feral cat services are to our community, and we have always done our best to accommodate feral cats whenever possible. In fact, we have never turned away a feral cat brought in appropriately in a trap. However, next week we know our limits, and accepting additional feral cats is simply not something we can safely accommodate while maintaining the quality of care our patients deserve.
We appreciate your understanding and support as we work through this exceptionally busy week.
🐾 We will still be accepting feral cats this Wednesday 6/10.
🐾 Feral cat intake will resume beginning June 22nd.
Thank you for helping us make a difference for community cats and for respecting the needs of our team during this busy time.

This post will be rough. The photo..even worse. Flip through photos with caution. (Tara-dont look).
This mom is our 2026 submission for worst mom of the year. BUT let us be clear, its not her fault, its the humans that love her so dearly the last 5 plus years but only fed her and nothing more.
This girl was trapped at the Mary Skinners Apartment and she is a true feral (same place the little black baby in the video this morning is from and the drippy butt kittens tara posted a bit ago) . She was triple wide prego and gave birth in the middle of the night, hours before her spay appt.
She had 5 little babies that we couldn't even touch for the first 10 days because...moms feral.
2 died early on as they were extra small from the get go. That left her with 3 remaining babies that made it to 4 weeks of age. They have some eye issues which we tried to medicate when she would allow us to grab the kittens, but nothing consistent. Tuesday night we noticed one seemed smaller and a smidge weaker when we risked life and limb to treat her eyes.
Weds morning when we lifted the cover of her condo we found the small baby half eaten. Yes. She ate her baby.
THIS is one of the many many reasons we spay abort feral moms. Shes stressed as hell, she wants out, she wants to move her babies away, and because some come from horribly diseased colonies like Mary Skinner Apts, they already have their own bodies fighting against them.
This picture is extreme but its NOT abnormal when outside moms are forced inside. Moms are unnecessarily stressed, babies and may not be the healthiest from the get go. So moms resort to survival instincts and keeping the healthy babies alive and her efforts to do so focused on the strong ones.
When we encourage spay abort and the community disputes it. Are you willing to have her at your house ? To clean up this half eaten 4 week old kitten (she finished it off BTW, it was gone when we worked up the courage to reach in and clean up the mess).
We will give an update soon on the Skinners Butte colony work, but for now, we are still working our butts off to try and keep the remaining kittens from 4 very sick litters alive and well.
This is an interesting kitten case
