Another beat journal…
I call this Velvet Bathrobe. In honor of my smooth blue bathrobe that has a hood on it. I got it a while ago because I always thought it was cool Ghostface walked out on stage with one. I haven’t done that yet and probably won’t to avoid trying to copy one of the GOATs who made it look so dope. But this has a summertime vibe that I accidentally made. Work in progress.
Been making damn near a beat a day and some I didn’t want to post because I just want to save them for a special occasion later on. However I am now backed up on a ton of rap homework again. Story of my life! Lol.
So proud of what I accomplished with my band over the past few months. This year we have been playing out more and even been hitting up more Maryland events which has been great for us. Playing out in Baltimore at Cat’s Eye Pub went well Friday and I hope we go back.
So lately, I’ve gotten back on the grind and worked on my websites. My artist website and the website for .olympics. S/O to .dev because I probably would have kept using other apps that didn’t really make it possible. I’m going to have to join their community and check out some more ins and outs of what they’re doing.
And speaking of .olympics, I’m hoping to do an other unboxing of samples coming up in June. Got some new designs completed and looking to get some feedback on some more things before the official launch.

Get • .olympics We went back to the drawing board with the website. The earlier version didn’t completely rep the OG logo version even with the standard logo. Fun fact: the logo was originally in yellow lettering when it was first launched and later on converted back and forth from white to black and other colors. Website and apparel still launching in the Summer of 2026. Details TBA. In the meantime, be on the lookout for more unboxing of the testers we will have out soon.

Back from Baltimore, got to play Cat’s Eye Pub in Fells Point with the band.
When I played 4 sets with my band last night (yes, you read that right, lol), there was someone who sapped and was like yo, you guys were so dope and blah blah blah.
And bro wrote down all of who we we reminded each of.
I have to say, I don’t meet to many people who know about the Blakroc album that Black Keys did but that is one of my favorites.
Salute to the DOOM and Mighty Mos comparison.
And yeah, we need to do a Sade cover. Lol.
And I do like Domi and JD Beck, it was probably some of our uptempo tracks that have DNB sound to it. Ah, good times.

Haven’t posted as much about .olympics but I’ve been working on a ton of designs off and on. This will be one of them and I’m posting it as a reminder to myself. This is probably the first real time I’ve had a brand where I constructed it and really focused on themes for it. Still have the goal of launching the website in the summer. But part of the plan which is always essential, is to have apparel and music on hand folks can support. But some of the stuff, will have to be special ordered on line and shipped.
Also, getting more help on this as of late has been good. I appreciate those who have helping me cultivate this idea into something. Let’s go!

Get • We had fun at the Takoma Park Porch Festival and even got a pretty decent crowd. Dodged the little bit of rain from earlier and had a great show. We appreciate everyone that came out.
Get • We’ve got three shows this month and we are writing a new song. Along with some new songs being mixed and mastered as we speak.
Kicked it at before I dipped off and watched the new movie. Fun times.
Another Beat Journal…
I call this one Get My Passport Ready. For some obvious reasons and well, I’ve put it off which I shouldn’t have. So sometimes I just make beats to give my self a reminder to do so. This is one of the many sounds I recently got thanks to these damn spring sales (The Sample Lab caught me slippin’ along with Ludexloops, lol) so I’m throwing some joints together to see what’s what.
To take my mind off the chaos, I’m considering to go check out the Michael Jackson movie. Hearing some mixed things about it. But I did plan to see it. Living through it and then seeing what the movie tells you will be interesting. Lol.
Filled some prescriptions thru Wal-Mart begrudgingly (not because of the medication but because I held off on going to Wal-Mart and my local pharmacy shut down). Let’s hope this time they have the medication I needed from earlier this year. I think I need to apply some pressure and make sure my stuff is actually ready and not something I wait and they don’t fulfill the prescription. Had that happened to anyone before? So annoying.
