Look at Bryson as he stands in the honorable position of ring bearer for his mother and father's wedding. See what happens when he witnesses his mother walking down the aisle. Bryson lost his stoic composure and broke out in crocodile tears; but no need to fret, these are tears of joy. His mother Tearra stated she was surprised by his reaction, but knew he knew the value of what that moment meant to their family. I applaud for being able to capture this moment. He said it was difficult to capture because he was trying to hold back his tears behind the camera. It is moments like this that help me understand why I am so passionate about planning weddings. I know how important it is for couples to be fully engaged in that moment. It is my duty to help couples stay stress free so they can fully emerge themselves in the journey to forever. I love being a wedding planner.

Sometimes you have to be careful what you ask for. I asked for my office to be closed because of the weather. These cupcakes are a product of a snow day when you have a 6 year old in the house that wants to be entertained.

Can somebody please tell Mother Nature and Father Winter to stop playing with me? They're really trying to punk me! I know my calendar shows March 20 as the first day of spring, but yet I turn my television on and hear a meteorologist predicting a snow storm. Consequently, all the schools in the DMV are already scheduled to be closed tomorrow. Enough is enough! Mother Nature and Father Winter, I'm going to let you have this last hurrah but if you gonna do it; do it right so they can shut my office down too...😁

Today was just one of those days I felt like screaming!!! There seem to be fire after fire to put out. I mean the grind was serious today! Everything seemed full speed ahead. Can somebody please give me a break to pump?! And just think, tomorrow I'll be up and at it again. I guess days like this are to be expected when you're a wife, mom, full-time employee, and a side gig hustler.

I couldn't let St.Patrick's day go by without highlighting a bride who chose to wear a green wedding dress. Meaghan is wearing it well in this stunning emerald green wedding dress by Mac Duggal. Besides the green dress, there was something more that intrigued me about Meaghan and David's story. I recently mentioned how I thought the DC War Memorial was a nice location for an intimate wedding ceremony; well David, Meaghan's groom thought so too. The cherry blossoms in DC aren't the only gorgeousness. DC has some amazing commemorative structures to visit. I particularly love the DC War Memorial. I think it's an astounding location for an intimate wedding ceremony. did an excellent job capturing all its beauty and details in this image.

Enough already with this bitter cold weather! Bring on the spring time. I love spring time in DC. It's unfortunate we have to wait until the end of March to enjoy the DC Cherry Blossoms. The views around the Tidal Basin are amazing when the blossoms are in bloom.
