✨ Faculty Spotlight Friday! ✨ Meet Dr. Christman, one of our incredible adjunct faculty members who brings a passion for orthopedics, sports medicine, and student mentorship to the GW DPT program. From teaching courses like Modalities, MSK, and Interventions to guiding students through their growth as future clinicians!

Congratulations to the Class of 2026! We had a blast celebrating with you, your families, and friends. We know all of you will be making a big splash in the physical therapy profession in the near future! Raise High!

Our 2nd Year Aging course has officially come to an end! 💙

Throughout the semester, our students organized and led a weekly group exercise class, guiding paired participants through stations focused on balance, strength, and mobility. After each class, students also participated in panel discussions to learn more about topics related to the aging population through the experiences of their participants.

It was incredibly rewarding to witness the progress made throughout the semester and build these meaningful connections. We celebrated our final day with ice cream sandwiches and reflections on the experience!

A special thank you to the Foggy Bottom West End Village for donating their time to our program and helping enrich our students’ learning!

APTA Capitol Hill Day! Our first year student Daniel Millan joined PTs from across California to meet with members of Congress and advocate for the profession, our patients, and the future of physical therapy. He was also interviewed by APTA staff to share his experience and perspective as a student PT!

Congratulations to our 2nd year students on winning the Intramural Soccer Championship! ⚽🏆 With this victory, our 2nd year students are now 2x Soccer Champions and 3x GW Intramural Sports Champions overall!

Special shoutout to Chris Washburn for winning MVP 👏🏻 We’re so proud of our students for their teamwork, dedication, and the way they continue to represent our program with excellence!

Carolyn joined fellow healthcare students and professionals in supporting an event hosted by the Black Girl Pre-Health Collective, whose mission is to create a space for mentorship, unity, and motivation for Black women in pre-health concentrations at GW.
