What 25 Hours of Practice a Day Sounds Like 🎸

Legendary guitarist Kazuhito Yamash*ta joins jazz-fusion pioneer Larry Coryell for a jaw-dropping rendition of “Winter” from Vivaldi’s The Four Seasons.

Originally written for violin in 1725, Yamash*ta’s classical guitar adaptation is pure madness. The articulation is unbelievably clean, especially high above the 12th fret — a notoriously unforgiving area on a traditional classical guitar without a cutaway. At one point, he even retunes the guitar mid-performance and somehow never loses momentum.

Yamash*ta stunned the classical world in the 1980s with fearless solo transcriptions of massive orchestral works like Pictures at an Exhibition and Dvořák’s New World Symphony. His technique, musicality, and sheer audacity remain unmatched.

Steve Vai vs Ralph Macchio 🎸 The Most EPIC Guitar Duel in Movie History
