Prediction markets are predatory gambling platforms hiding behind federal loopholes. We cannot let them manipulate our democracy and destroy lives any longer. Congress must stop stalling and pass legislation to ban prediction markets permanentlyânow.

The NCAA once said legalizing sports gambling would destroy everything they've ever built. But, instead they invited them in, partnered with them, and engineered the nightmare we are seeing play out right before our very eyes
One of the tactics of a predatory gambling operator playbook â : promise hundreds of jobs to get it legalized, then cut those workers once their addiction for profit business model takes hold
For example, a FanDuel CEO claimed during the Illinois lobbying effort; "FanDuel would bring in 300 tech jobs to Chicago if sports betting is legalized and if the company is issued a mobile app license".
Fast forward to last week, FanDuel purged several hundred jobs, wiping up to 6% of its workforce in a single day. Executives dismissed the massive cuts as a "necessary" strategic move for the company to succeed.
