Our lease has come to an end, which means that after two and a half fantastic years, we’ve closed our doors on this chapter. Thank you to this amazing team for creating a cool and fun place to hang out, and to the guests that made Prequel a wonderful place to be.

Before moving to the UK to head up development for Pachamama Group’s kitchens, John Javier trained at Noma and Momofuku. In 2015 he opened Master in Sydney, which Rene Redzepi of Noma labelled as one of his favorites in Australia prior to closing in 2016. Since then, he moved to Hong Kong to become the chef at the critically acclaimed Happy Paradise, filmed on Anthony Bourdain's 'Parts Unknown' and featured in TIME Magazine's '100 Greatest Places on Earth'. He has been heralded as the new voice for Chinese cuisine.
