For the past nine years, The Aslan Project has worked successfully to raise awareness about and transform the delivery of pediatric cancer care in Ethiopia. Our initiatives now serve as a model for low-resource settings and our partners have emerged as leaders throughout sub-Saharan Africa.

This week, with Aslan support, a contingent of 16 Ethiopian pediatric cancer doctors, nurses, and pharmacists are attending the 14th Annual SIOP Africa Continental Congress in Kampala, Uganda. Themed "Innovate for Africa," the Congress is offering our partners an important opportunity to discuss treatment approaches and network with some of Africa’s brightest minds.
