Savannah Guthrie’s mother Nancy Guthrie is still missing more than four months later.

People seem to have moved on. They’ve stopped reporting on it.

As someone who is close with my mom, I can’t begin to conceive how that family has been coping!

I’m still praying! I still am believing God for some breakthrough.

The incredibly-talented Michelle Williams is genuinely kind; indescribably-loyal; generous in more ways than I can share; and one of the most-supportive people I've ever met in my life! I'm proud to call her my friend! I am sharing this post today just because she deserves all the love!

In several interviews, Michelle revealed that it was both me and her cousin Brittany Phillips who encouraged her to return to Broadway and take on her much-buzzed-about role in the acclaimed "Death Becomes Her the Musical." (I'll share a link in the comments from her interview on The Jennifer Hudson Show where she credited us.) I'm so glad she listened!

If you haven't seen "Death Becomes Her," Michelle razzles and dazzles playing the sultry Viola Van Horn eight shows a week in the hilarious show adapted from the 1992 film by the same name. She even won a Broadway.com Audience Choice Award for "Favorite Featured Actress in a Musical" for it.

As the musical approaches 600-plus shows and about 20-months on the Great White Way, "Death Becomes Her" will end its run on June 28. If you're in or around NYC, run to see it before it wraps. Michelle is a tour de force in the production!

I realized that I never shared this photo we took at opening night of "Death Becomes Her" and what better time than now!

Michelle brings such life to "Death Becomes Her" and I'm excited to see all the amazing things she does once she concludes this run in her fourth Broadway production.

The weather on the East Coast has been giving “Fifty Shades of Grey” — and I’m definitely not talking about the elements trying to romanticize me! It’s been full gloom: rainy, cloudy, windy, cool and the occasional thunderstorm.

Usually, I hibernate from weather like this; but after nearly five days binge-watching shows like “Nemesis” and “Man on Fire” (both on Netflix); eating snacks; and catching up on household chores, I had to get outside.

I decided to get some fresh air in the 2026 Nissan Murano. Sleek, sturdy and known for “rarely needing repairs,” the mid-sized SUV offers near-luxury comfort, countless safety features and is one attractive whip.

I went for a rural ride into the suburbs of Virginia, where I posted up in a park listening to the Siriusly Sinatra channel on SiriusXM and allowed the Murano’s massaging front seats to treat me like I was at the spa.

Even with the rain drops hitting the sunroof and me wishing the sun would shine, my afternoon escapism in the Murano was the self-care time I needed.

So “Nemesis” was one amazing series to binge! LOVED IT! It had me in a chokehold for three days and had me up til 4am watching it each night.

I’ve seen all the other buzz-worthy dramas — “Imperfect Women,” “All Her Fault,” “His & Hers,” “The Morning Show,” “Reasonable Doubt” (my favorite)…

But what else good are you all watching?

I need another great high-quality series to get into!

Suggestions Please!

“Behold, The Green, and The Gold!” 🔰

It’s always a homecoming when I’m back at my alma mater Norfolk State University, and I rolled up on campus ready to inform and empower the 2026 class of NSU’s Spartans Promise to Persist with Purpose program.

I came to pour into them, but they always end up inspiring me!

Did a 📸 shoot on campus with SP3 All-Star Jah Rosado Jr. (he’s so dope!)!

PS: Catch me in “Rise of The Legion: A Documentary” at a film festival near you! The film about NSU’s legendary marching band is racking up awards and making an impact!

Was invited to opening night of the hilarious 44 Obama Musical in Washington, DC at the Shakespeare Theatre Company.

This was my second time seeing this laugh-out-loud satirical look into the presidency of Barack Obama—my first was in New York City a few years ago. But the show has gown so much since then.

The entire cast is really good. Kudos to T.j. Wilkins (Barack Obama), my longtime friend Shanice (Michaelle Obama), Chad Doreck (Joe Biden) and the entire cast. (Shanice wasn't in DC opening night due to her residency with Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis in Las Vegas.)

The musical's writer/director Eli Bauman has created a show that offers political escapism; and with everything going on in the world currently, we need more of this!

Catch this musical when it comes to your city. I promise you it's a great time! 🎭

I LOVE a first time experience and I just got a double-dose in New Orleans! Rolled up in NOLA with my friends from Acura and they made sure to ‘Laissez les bons temps rouler!’

Finally attended the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival for the first time and also got to experience Trombone Shorty’s Shorty Fest Presented by Acura!

One thing about New Orleans, it’s seasoned with soul; the culture sings through the brass; and the joy of its jazz breathes in the air!

Alfred Street Baptist Church clears rent debt for 318 Alexandria families 04/24/2026

Historic DMV ministry Alfred Street Baptist Church made a $1 Million donation to clear the rent for 318 families facing eviction in Alexandria, Virginia. City officials say they’ve never seen anything like this happen before.

This was after Alfred Street had already cleared the debt of 20 students graduating from Howard University.

The church’s leader Dr. Howard-John Wesley spoke to Tisha Lewis FOX 5 DC for Fox 5 DC about it.

People often amplify negative stories about churches and pastors; but this story is the type of story that should be shared far and wide!
