🍂 Friendsgiving Retreat at Saint George Church 🍂

Join us on Saturday, November 15th at 3:00 PM for our Friendsgiving Retreat as we prepare to celebrate the Feast of the Nativity of our Lord.
This special event is an opportunity for fellowship, prayer, and reflection during the Nativity Season, beginning on the first day of Advent.

All parishioners are welcome and encouraged to attend!

We will begin with Vespers, then continue to the Saint George Ballroom for our Retreat and Friendsgiving potluck dinner. Bring a Lenten dish to share as we enjoy fellowship and community!

During the retreat, we will read and reflect on the book “Welcoming the Christ Child,” a devotional guide designed to help us prepare our hearts for the Nativity Fast.

Each participant is encouraged to have a copy of the book to fully participate. Copies are available for purchase at the Saint George Church Bookstore.

Let us come together in Christ to give thanks, grow in faith, and prepare our hearts to welcome our Savior.

Picnic with the Ladies 🧺

Yesterday was such a beautiful day with our amazing Ladies of Saint George!
We began our afternoon together in Vespers and prayer, lifting our hearts in gratitude and fellowship. Afterward, we continued the celebration with a fun and relaxing charcuterie-inspired potluck picnic, sharing delicious food and enjoying each other’s company.

The laughter, heartfelt conversations, and the simple joy of being together made it a truly special gathering. To make the day even sweeter, each lady went home with her own bag filled with charcuterie board goodies and items as a little reminder of our time together.

A big thank you to everyone who came out and brought their love, warmth, and creative dishes to share. May the Lord continue to bless our sisterhood and strengthen us in faith, friendship, and service.
