I was told in massage school that being a man (of color) was a double-edged sword. That set with me for the first 2 years of my career. I have mastered my craft to be the best at what I do. So now any language or concerns that question me as a professional are mute. If a potential client wishes not to patronize me because of my gender, they have missed out on a grand opportunity to experience neverending happiness, my spin on a common phrase.

I am now offering FREE tutoring for Massage Therapy entry-level students in the DMV. Dr. ROBERT L. WHITE, DIM, LMT, a seasoned massage practitioner and CEU provider, is willing to share his 20 years of wisdom and skill set with up-and-coming massage practitioners. I will feature subject items that connect the academic portion with the practical part of the basic massage curriculum. This additional instruction will cover body mechanics, the tools to use, and techniques to build confidence as you work towards your certificate.
