NEW! Gladiator stands the test of time as one of the most memorable depictions of the Roman Empire on film, thanks in no small part to the look established by production designer Arthur Max. At the Academy Library, Adam looks through concept drawings and Colosseum plans from the production of Gladiator, including early designs for its titular combatants. Link in comments.

NEW! Star Trek: The Original Series brought us so many iconic designs for props, costumes, and spaceships, but the hand prop that is perhaps the most recognizable from the show is the Type II phaser.
