The Venue Matters | The right venue doesn’t just hold your reunion… it shapes the experience.
From state parks with oversized pavilions to beautiful outdoor venues with barns and open space, there are so many ways to create something special.
Fun fact: My own family has celebrated our reunion at the same state park for 76 years. And what makes it even more meaningful? It was the first park to allow Black families to gather and fellowship. That history… that legacy… it matters.
A few things to always keep in mind:
-Book your venue for the full day
-Always have a weather backup plan play and eat great food (all day!!)
✔️ Always have a weather backup plan
Because when the foundation is right, the experience flows effortlessly.
Thinking about your reunion location? Let’s find the perfect venue to create the perfect experience for your family!

Culture, Respect & Elevated Experiences
Working with an international client reminded me that honoring culture isn’t just respectful, it’s powerful. From understanding how business is done to witnessing a speaker welcome guest in the client’s native language, I saw how small gestures create lasting impact.
Culture connects us. Thoughtfulness elevates experiences.
And intentional planning transforms events into moments people remember.
When you honor people, you elevate the entire experience.

Reputation, Relationships & Readiness...
Your reputation speaks before you ever enter the room.
This international opportunity came from a referral and that reminder stayed with me every step of the way.
- Strong vendor relationships
- Clear systems
- Financial readiness
- Consistently delivering excellence
When timelines are short and stakes are high, preparation is everything. Your name, your work ethic, and your standards should always speak with confidence on your behalf.
Practice excellence daily, someone is always watching.

NEW BLOG POST..."What Working with My First International Client Taught Me"
From local ex*****on to global impact.
Working with my first international client taught me more than how to plan an event across time zones it taught me how growth truly shows up in business.
In less than 30 days, I led a high‑level corporate event with tight timelines, late‑night meetings, trusted vendor partnerships, cultural awareness, financial readiness, and a reputation built long before this moment arrived.
Flexibility wasn’t optional.
Preparation wasn’t negotiable.
Excellence was the expectation.
This experience reminded me that global growth isn’t just about geography, it’s about mindset, discipline, and being willing to stretch beyond what’s familiar.
When you’re open to adapt, anchored in integrity, and committed to standards, your business can go anywhere.

Two months since my last post.
According to the algorithm… that’s a problem.
According to me? Who gives a flying, you know what!!!! Okay, just a little to let you guys know my business is alive!
I’ve been busy doing the actual work; building, refining, and transforming Signature Concepts LLC. Not for likes. Not for vanity metrics. But for performance.
Here’s the truth: in the world of corporate events, social media doesn’t sign contracts. Results do. Ex*****on does. Reputation does. And that’s where my focus has been.
Transitioning into a new market of clients has been eye‑opening, rewarding, and a powerful reminder that growth requires intention. I’ve gotten crystal clear on the types of events I want to produce and the clients I’m called to serve.
Sometimes that shift feels like starting over but it’s not.
It’s more like riding a bike.
The training wheels come off faster when you block out the noise and keep your eyes on the road ahead.
There will always be roadblocks.
The key is not letting them distract you.
This video? It’s not just a highlight reel. It’s a glimpse into 24 years of evolution, resilience, learning, and growth in this industry and I’m just getting started, again!
Performance over presence.
Purpose over popularity.
Always.

When I’m not working or planning events that bring people together in unforgettable ways, you can almost always find me in my natural habitat: curled up on the sofa in my softest pajamas, socks on, a perfectly crafted cocktail in hand, and fully committed to a binge‑watch marathon.
I live for shows filled with high-impact drama, suspense, and investigative twists that keep me on the edge of my seat—because if life isn’t giving plot twists, my TV surely will. But let’s be clear: horror is a hard no from me. I don’t need anything jumping out at me or chasing me in the dark; I like my drama fictional and my nights peaceful.
If you’re a subscriber to my newsletter, then you already know that I always spill the tea on what I’m watching, and my latest issue is packed with my current obsessions. If you’re not subscribed yet, now is the perfect time to join the insider circle. Want in? Just click the link in my bio and come binge with me… from a safe, non-horror distance.
