Rhee and the Washington Teachers' Union have reached tentative agreement on a new contract, ending more than two years of closely watched and often-rancorous negotiations, union and District officials said Tuesday.

A Saint Louis High School responds to recent fighting by organizing a student peace committee. All members are trained in peer mediation and alternatives to violence by a local non-profit. Watch the video here.
